Breakfast for little ones doesn’t have to be limited to porridge or simple sandwiches. There are plenty of delicious foods that are easy to prepare and your kids are sure to love them.

The transition to full meals can be a difficult time for parents and kids, especially when it comes to coming up with interesting and tasty recipes that don’t take hours to prepare. The following recipes are perfect for busy parents. Just throw the ingredients in a bowl and bake in the oven or in a pan.

Cupcakes

Feel free to throw in any fruit and/or nuts you like. Strawberries, apples, bananas, walnuts, etc.

Ingredients:
– 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour,
– 1 1/2 cups oatmeal (try the mixes available at https://onedaymore.pl/sklep/trio-smakow-dla-dzieciakow/),
– 2 Tbsp. whole or ground flaxseed,
– 2 tbsp wheat germ,
– 1 teaspoon baking powder,
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda,
– 1/4 teaspoon salt,
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon,
– 1 cup unsweetened applesauce,
– 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt,
– 1 tablespoon milk,
– 1/2 cup agave nectar,
– 2 Tbsp canola oil,
– 1 large egg, lightly beaten,
– 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen).

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. You can use regular or mini muffin tins. Mini muffin tins are perfect for toddlers. Spray the muffin tin you will be using with grease or butter.

In a large bowl, mix together flour, oatmeal, flaxseed, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. In a medium bowl, mix together the applesauce, yogurt, milk, agave, oil and egg. Then add the mousse mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture is moist. Add the blueberries. Fill muffin tins to 2/03 of the height.

Bake 16-18 minutes large muffins, 11-12 minutes mini version. Remove from oven and set aside to cool for about 10 minutes. When the muffins have cooled slightly, remove them from the mold and let them cool completely. Eat fresh.

Pancakes

A sweet dish that every child will love. Plus it’s not too difficult to make.

Ingredients:
– 3 eggs,
– 1 glass of cottage cheese,
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
– 2 tablespoons of honey or agave,
– 1/2 cup flour,
– 1 teaspoon baking powder,
– 1/4 teaspoon salt,
– butter, oil, or spray oil.

Preparation:

Place eggs, cottage cheese, extract and honey in a bowl and mix. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Pour the dry mixture into the wet mixture and stir until combined. Heat a large skillet or pancake pan over medium heat, brush lightly with oil or butter and pour about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the pan. Fry for 2 minutes on each side or until pancakes are browned. Serve with honey, fruit, jam or other sweet toppings.

Omelettes

A light and super easy recipe to stimulate your child’s taste buds. A serving of fluffy omelets with cream cheese and basil will be a tasty meal for kids.

Ingredients
– butter,
– 1 tomato, seedless and diced,
– 1 medium egg, beaten,
– 1 tablespoon skimmed milk,
– 1 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese (if you prefer, try another hard cheese),
– 3 basil leaves, chopped (optional).

Preparation:

Melt the butter in a small skillet, then add the tomatoes and saute for one minute. In a small bowl, mix the egg, milk, cheese and basil (if using). Pour the mixture into the skillet and flip, Once the omelet has set, which should take about 2 minutes, flip and fry for another 2 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the omelet to a plate and cut the pieces that into chunks.
